Landon Edwin Ash, the founder and Chief Executive Officer at Xtreme Concept, Inc.. He is passionate about investing, social entrepreneurship and venture philanthropy.  His pastimes include; hunting, fishing, sport flying, diving, and extreme sports. Landon actively supports numerous educational and philanthropic programs and initiatives. He focuses primarily on providing capital to early stage companies focused in Defense Initiatives both foreign and domestic.  He thrives on helping entrepreneurs-the people who change the way we live and work, creating new products and services by converting their ideas and ambitions into reality.

Landon, as an active reserve Law Enforcement Officer, was appointed by Governor Bentley to serve on his Homeland Security council for the state of Alabama,.  He is also the Chairman of the board of Trustees of the political action committee, HeroPAC.  This PCA supports state legislators and elected officials who have a proven record of supporting American combat Veterans. Landon is also Vice President of the Greater Birmingham Junior Golf Association, dedicated to underprivileged youth by exposing them to them to the game of golf.  He is also am member of  the Board of Directors of the A HERO Foundation, which serves combat Veterans by providing fellowship and mentorship opportunities through recreational activities.

Prior to founding Xtreme Concepts, Inc., Landon’s Grandparents instilled a strong work ethic as he worked as a plumber’s assistant in High School before entering the families food industry of Golden Flake Snack Food Inc. a subsidiary of Golden Enterprises.  Here he worked his way up the ranks while attending college Having acted as both founder and CEO of several companies, Landon brings the uncommon combination of entrepreneurial, operating and investment expertise to his portfolio companies. As a venture capitalist, Landon has been involved in building many successful companies.

Landon holds a B.A. in Marketing Communications and a B.A. in Human Resource Management, both from University of Mississippi where he was also a member of the Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity. Landon holds a current Top Secret Security Clearance and also serves on several non-profit boards.
