Marine LtCol Jeremy Thompson and his family are touring the nation, visiting America's tallest elevation in every state in order to raise awareness and funding for AHERO's mission. From their start point of Pensacola, FL, the Thompsons plan to visit the highest elevations in the contiguous United States !!

  • Black Mountain, KY - 4,145 ft: 3 October
  • Taum Sauk Mountain, MO - 1,772 ft: 6 October
  • Mount Sunflower, KS - 4,039 ft: 8 October

The rate of Veteran suicide is more than double that of our non-Veteran population. So many of them that never connect with the needed emotional support during the long recovery and adjustment to life after combat.
