AHERO Founder & CEO Lee Stuckey Salutes Wonderboy

Major Lee Stuckey’s regarding Stephen "Wonderboy” Thompson and family:

I had the great opportunity to meet Stephen "Wonderboy” Thompson approximately five years ago when we were both fighting at a professional MMA fight in Greenville, South Carolina. A good friend of mine, Brett Moses, hosted these events and began the introductions that would change all of our lives. Brett, a huge military supporter, went out of his way to introduce me to the Thompson/Machado family. I had heard about Stephen and his amazing kickboxing career long before we ever met. I was also extremely impressed by Stephen's brother-in-law, Professor Carlos Machado, who is one of the top Brazilian Jiu Jitsu teachers in the world. Stephen, Professor Machado, and his father Mr. Ray Thompson (Mr. T) were incredibly patriotic. I was more impressed with their love of the military than their athletic skills. When they learned I was a Marine Mr. T and Carlos immediately asked about the Marine Corps and offered an open invitation to come train in Simpsonville, South Carolina at their dojo, Upstate Karate school.
